Lockdown Restrictions

Posted on Apr 21, 2021

Dear Customer;

Hopefully, you are aware, we are in Lockdown until May 20th.  But as we know, this could be extended.

Monday, a bylaw officer called the office to ensure that we were aware of the updated restrictions for marinas and trailer parks.  If you require additional information concerning restrictions for either, you can contact: the Norfolk County by-law offices at 519-875-4485  or the Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit at 519-426-6170

Marinas are closed to the public.  Customers can launch their boats and take them to their docks, but then need to leave the premises.  Winter storage customers can come and work on their boats by appointment only.  Please call the office to make an appointment.

Trailer customers are permitted to go to their trailers for less than 24 hours, or more than 14 days.  The by-law officer made sure that I was aware that if customers are coming to their trailer for less than 24 hours, that it is for a reason (such as maintenance, not relaxation).  Garbage bins will be locked, but can be unlocked for those that are here for more than 14 day.  Simply come to the office, when Kim is there (Monday - Friday, 8-5) and she can unlock it for you.  Remember that it is for household garbage only.

Because fees were due April 1st, trailer customers who are not paid in full, will not have their holding tanks checked.  Payments can be made in the office (which is restricted to one customer) by cash, cheque or debit. E-transfers can be sent to booths@boothsharbour.com using the password water or waters.  Cheques or money orders can be mailed to:

            Booth's Harbour

            P.O. Box 50

            St. Williams, ON

            N0E 1P0

Due to the fact that boating is not permitted, the store/gas docks will not be opening for weekends, until the lockdown is over.

Help do your part to stop the spread of COVID-19 and allow us to open as soon as possible, please stay home!

 Yours truly,

Kim Szabo

Lockdown Changes

Posted on Apr 20, 2021
As you know Lockdown for marinas changed on Saturday, April 17th.  Customers can use the ramp to launch their boats and take them to their docks, but then need to leave the marina.  There is no boating allowed.  The boat ramp is closed to the public.  Trailer customers can come to their trailer for less than 24 hours, only if it is necessary and they have  a reason to be there or if they are going to be there for more than 14 days.  It is your responsibility to know Haldimand-Norfolk Health Unit's (www.hnhu.org) guidelines as they change. Please stay home and stay safe.

At this time customers can use the boat launch and put their boats in their docks (and enjoy their day on the lake).  Trailer customers, however, can be at their trailers for up to 24 hours OR over 14 days.
The store and gas docks are available, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
Also anyone coming down to work on their boat that has been store here during the winter, needs to contact the office and make an appointment and let us know when you are coming.  ALWAYS REMEMBER to social distance from other customers.

At this point and time the office and gas docks are open Monday - Friday, 8-5
Please social distance yourself from staff.  Once you dock your boat, step away and our staff will fill it.  If you would like our staff to bring your boat over for gas, please contact the office at 519-586-2731, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Once I can ensure that my summer staff can work safely with social distancing, we will begin to open on weekends.

COVID 19 - STAY HOME

Posted on Apr 8, 2020
Please do not come to the marina.  We are closed.  The office is CLOSED.  We will not be able to check email, phone messages, etc until we are allowed to return to work.  A bylaw officer has already been down to the marina to monitor marina/trailer park usage.  DO NOT come to work on your trailer, or boat.  We are unsure as to when we will be able to return, once non-essential businesses are allowed to reopen we will be here for you, but please be patient once we can return.  If you need more information go to
As most of you have guessed, we are a non-essential business and are closed.  And I know that you all have questions concerning boating this coming season.
We don't know what is going to happen, and won't be able to deal with that until we can return to work.

If you need more information  please go to  https://www.ontario.ca/page/emergency-information
Thank you for your patience at this time and hopefully we can return to work soon.
